Russian filmmaker Serguei Eisenstein (1889-1948) drew since he was a child, a well-known facet of his artistic work; however, his production of erotic drawings was unknown, many of which he made during his stay in Mexico (1931-1932) when he was filming ¡Que viva México, a film that remained unfinished. Some of them are drawn on the letterhead of the Imperial Hotel, located on Paseo de la Reforma.
