Contemporary art is about to shift era. Change is coming, the pandemic generation will carry great news for artistic creation. This is how Mónica Manzutto forsees it, who, together with José Kuri, founded in Mexico City, in 1999, the gallery that united their surnames and soon became an international reference for Latin America and to the world: kurimanzutto. The gallery, located in an old lumberyard, is a museum space with a shop in one of the central neighborhoods of the capital, a beautiful tourist visit. The 49-year-old Mexican woman of Colombian origin gets excited thinking about the future, thinking about putting young artists in dialogue with their predecessors. Happy to live in this era of change.
