When he finished his journey, he saw many things in Colombia that he liked to deal with in his films, so he called Diana Bustamante, a Colombian producer who was the one who had invited him to the FICCI, and told her of his decision to shoot something in the country, a film that in the end would be called 'Memory'.“‘Memory ’in its name refers to the memory of human beings, to what happens to us or has happened to us in history and how the memories of all human beings at some point are connected. Almost as if they were part of the genetics shared by humans, memories of ourselves and our ancestors. He also bears that title, because memory is something that has a lot to do with us as a country (Colombia) and for him that is also an important and recurring theme in his own work, ”explains Bustamante.
