Mudam partnered with TONO Festival to co-produce Bárbara Sánchez-Kane's performance Aguas Frescas.
Created by Sánchez-Kane in collaboration with poets, artists, musicians and performers, the piece will evolve along its journey across disciplines and geographies. The performance is conceived as a space of diverse symphonies inspired by the Mexican tradition of drinking horchata as a metaphor for collectivity.
It premiered as part of the TONO Festival, at the Museo Anahuacalli in Mexico City, in March 2025.
It will be presented at the Mudam during the Luxembourg Museum Days on 17 and 18 May 2025.
