Masquerade is a solo presentation of works by WangShui, consisting of a variety of paintings rendered in ink and oil on aluminum. The gestural yet delicate abstractions are mounted in an eclectic array of frames—some antique, some contemporary, and some unclear. The presentation plays with perception and paradox, exploring how internal and external cues coalesce to shape our sense of meaning.
