The Summit is a proposal thought of in 2019 that makes so much more sense in 2020. Abraham Cruzvillegas thrives on improvisation and instability, on conjuring collective constructions and on transforming collected objects into large environments, in the making of which he is never alone. For this occasion, and with our assistance, Abraham has invited artist-run spaces from various countries, the great majority of which have responded positively, to send us instructions for a group exhibition of group exhibitions. Therefore, sketches and measurements were sent our way, a movie script made by 70 authors was sent, 150 photos were proposed as lottery tickets, several performances were declared open to interpretation, a list of names had to be spray-painted onto banners, a list of slogans had to be hand-painted onto old clothes, a know-it-all robot was made from scraps, b/w film photos were taken and so much more.
