Autoreconstruccion: detriuts is a project to activate the MUCA space- in the heart of the National University, and the same time commited to one of the key problems we live in this self-destructive megacity, which produce almost incomprehensive amounst of information. every day and every hour. Garbage - the detriuts of a consumer society that still affects an environmental protected area such as the Ecological Reserve of Pedregal de San Angel (REPSA) at UNAM.

The discursive center is located right in the REPSA: it is the work that Abraham Cruzvillegas conceived, starting with the discovery of an unfinished wall of volcanic stone, pretending to complete it with rubble, gravel and garbage, coming from the same reserve. Inside the walls of the museum a series of artistic porposals are displayed, which present approaches and alternatives to the theme and problem of garbage, recycling "as art".​

They are changing works, in a process of metamorphosis, with unpredictable interactions, epistemic synergies, accompanied by events and daily activities - that celebrate the principie of self-construction, conceptualized and establishe over the years in many parts of the world by Abraham Cruzvillegas, as a way of a permanent ontological instabillity, demanding and also creative. 

Furthermore, this complex, contradictory, propositional exhibition, commited to human life on the planet during its late anthropocene phase, is an innovate initiative that is configured without the straitjacket of a traditional curatorship, but which develops with a free dialogue between the participating artists and academics. of UNAM, mainly around the analysis of debris as a matter in transformation.
