Curiosity, freedom, lustful delirium and even a bit of perversion. This is what visual artist Damián Ortega finds in the erotic drawings of the famous Russian filmmaker Sergei Eisenstein (1898-1948), on display at Kurimanzutto starting today.

Sergey Eisenstein: drawings, which contains scenes of necrophilia, homosexuality, zoophilia, group sex and dismemberment; a universe that evokes Greek, Roman and pre-Hispanic mythologies, as well as biblical scenes of anticlerical cut.
